February 2019 Principal Message

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Our weather this month has been very cold. We want to remind parents to please ensure students have warm clothing when they come to school. Students do spend time outdoors every day.

Our student led conferences are on February 12th & 13th this month. This is an important time to celebrate and explore what your child is doing at school. Please plan to attend and spend some time interacting with your child and their learning.

There is no school on February 14th & 15th as staff is at convention where they will be enhancing their learning. There is also no school on Monday February 18st for the Family day holiday.

School Council works very hard and pays for many field trips that support all students in our school. Your help is needed both by attending School Council meetings and volunteering for field trips. If you have not done a police clearance you are not able to volunteer. Please do so in order to support your child and the school. Students love having their parents attend trips and being involved in their school.

I look forward to seeing many of you at our student led conferences on February 12th & 13th.

Sincerely,

Steve Wigglesworth,

Principal

Over the course of the 2019-20 school year, we will continue to have conversations with students, parents, and staff to learn from their experiences and to seek their input and suggestions for improvement https://t.co/1dxVU6AFky #yycbe

There are no classes for students on Friday Oct 11 because it is a system-wide non-instructional day. All schools and offices are closed on Monday Oct 14 for Thanksgiving. Have a fun and safe long weekend! #WeAreCBE https://t.co/bDHlmyqQn6
