Dear Parents & Guardians,

A big thank you to all the families that can for student led conferences before out fall break. It was great to see so many families and celebrate the learning that your children have done. Your child(ren) have worked so hard and love being able to share with their parents.

I hope you all had and a great fall break and were able to spend some time together as a family. We are excited to be back to school this week and are enjoying the warm fall weather. Please remember to dress for both cool morning and warm afternoon as students do spend time outdoors every day.

We are trying to use more electronic tools to communicate with parents/guardians. Please refer to our website for events and news items and make sure you have given us your email address so you are receiving information from the school. Please let us know if there are any concerns with receiving information.

Arriving to school on time is important. It helps student to be prepared for class and connect with friends as the day begins. Breakfast club that opens at 8:00am and all students are welcome to come have breakfast. We also have our gym open at 8:10am for students to come and play and supervision outside starting at 8:15am.

Thank you to all the parents that are helping to keep our parking lots efficient and safe. There is no parking in the alley or staff lot. There is parking on Huntchester Road and Huntridge Hill adjacent to the school. Also thanks to all who are walking on the sidewalk and keeping foot traffic out of the alley. All of these small steps made a big difference in keep students safe and the visitor parking lot more accessible.

Sincerely,

Steve Wigglesworth
