January 2019 Principal Message

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome back and Happy New Year. I hope you had a wonderful holiday and were able to spend time with your family. We are looking forward to a great year in 2019 with many exciting learning opportunities for your children.

Our School Council continues to be a huge support to the programming in our school by funding unique learning opportunities and materials for our students. We want to extend another invitation to join School Council and share your thoughts and ideas to make our school the best it can be. All parents/guardians are welcome. Our next meeting is January 31st, 2019 in the learning commons at 7pm. Child care is provided.

We would like to extend a warm welcome back to Ms. Jarvis who has returned after a year teaching in Australia. Welcome back to Canada.

A reminder that January can be a cold month and dressing for the weather is important for both comfort and safety. Please make sure your child has indoor shoes and warm clothing for outdoors. If you need support for any of these items please let the office know and we can help.

Our kindergarten registration starts on January 14th for any new families joining us next year. We will be accepting any new students that live in our attendance area.

I want to wish you all the best in 2019.
