School Newsletters

We will continue to prepare one school newsletter each month. This will be available during the last week of each month and can be accessed on our News Centre page. We will continue to send a one page, hard copy to parents. This will contain the calendar for the upcoming month and will highlight selected items which are also covered in our more detailed newsletter.

Periodically, it is also necessary for us in the office to send other information or “bulletins” to parents. Please ensure you have a system set with your child so you receive such information.

Please note: From time to time homeroom teachers will share specific information with parents in students’ agenda books, in hard copy form or electronically. Please be aware of such information so you can remain current about matters concerning your child.

D2L

All CJM homeroom teachers now have D2L in place for maintaining on-going, weekly communication with parents. We encourage parents to take advantage of this opportunity to stay informed of matters that pertain to your child.

Agenda Books

Each child is provided with an agenda book. Teachers have set certain expectations for communicating with the students and with parents. We encourage parents to use the agenda effectively to communicate with us.

Please note: the front section of the student agenda is our “school handbook”. This provides everyone with important information about several relevant aspects of our school. Parents and students are expected to be familiar with this information.

There are no classes for students on Friday Oct 11 because it is a system-wide non-instructional day. All schools and offices are closed on Monday Oct 14 for Thanksgiving. Have a fun and safe long weekend! #WeAreCBE https://t.co/bDHlmyqQn6
