Lost & Found 

Students are advised to check the school's Lost and Found area for any items that may have been misplaced. Items not claimed by the end of the school year will be donated. 

Scooters, Skateboards & Heelys 

Safety regulations require that skateboards, roller blades and Heelys are not to be brought to school or used on school property.

Personal Items 

Students are discouraged from bringing personal items to school as they may be lost, stolen or damaged. Students may also become very focused on their personal items in a way that distracts from learning. 

If there is a personal item that may help with self-regulation on the bus or in the classroom, please contact the classroom team to discuss potential arrangements. An iPod, a special toy or a favourite book may be used on the bus and left with the drivers during the day, for example, or a comfort item may be selected to keep in the classroom all year. 

Apps on personal devices such as cell phones may be beneficial regulation tools for many students on the bus. At school many other tools are available to students to aid in their regulation. To ensure the safety and security of these devices, students will be asked to turn them in to staff when they arrive at school so they may be appropriately stored for the day. They will be returned to students at the end of each school day. Please review the school’s Digital Citizenship plan for more information
