I Encourage You to Attend our Next School Council Meeting

During our next school council meeting, I encourage you all to attend. I will be sharing the results of our last year’s School Development Plan (SDP), our PAT (provincial achievement results) and our CBE student survey data. This will then lead into a discussion of what goals we are thinking of setting for the 2019-20 school year. We have to have 3 SDP goals:

  1. A student well-being for learning goal
  2. A literacy goal
  3. A third goal based on another subject (math for us)

Please mark Oct. 16, 6 PM in your calendar! Babysitting is provided!

Our Sept. 30 count is in and we had 127 students attending CWS that day. With 25 students in kindergarten, we are looking forward to solid enrollment in the near future. Our kindergarten class is starting to be supported by a full-morning education assistant starting next Monday, which will support Mrs. Connell. The education assistant will be with us for eight weeks.

If you have any questions, please come and see me!

Meike Thomsen, Principal
