Dear Parents and Guardians,

These are your updates for the week May 6-10.

  • Many students came home this week with fee statements.  If you received this third reminder of outstanding fees, please pay them as soon as possible.  Please contact our office if you have questions about your fees.
  • On Monday May 6, Room 16, 18 & 20 will be going to the Zoo.  Please ensure that your child arrives at school on time and dressed for the weather.
  • The Coventry Hills Elementary Fundraising Society (CHEFS) is running a plant selling campaign through Growing Smiles.  This fundraising campaign will run now through to May 10, 2019 with a plant delivery date to the school of Saturday, May 25.  All orders are placed online at https://coventryhills.growingsmilesfundraising.com/home
    • Payment can be made with your online order via e-Transfer or you may print your order form and send a cheque to the school.
  • On Thursday May 9 at 6:30 in our Learning Commons, we will be having our School Council and CHEFS Annual General Meetings.  All parents and guardians are welcome and encouraged to attend.  During this meeting you will have the opportunity to hear about what the school council and parent society have done during the past year including updates on traffic safety, fundraising activities, past and upcoming events and plans for the 2019-2020 school year.

Our playgrounds are re-opening this week. Please watch for our signs to say the equipment can be used according to health guidelines. #yycbe #WeAreCBE #yyc https://t.co/zqWmIztfXy

Through their hard work and generosity, Room 5 students at @HullSchool learned about the importance of helping others and became proud 'parents' of two koala bears https://t.co/pnUwjy3qKh #WeAreCBE https://t.co/8e7H5CrnIR

We are seeking input from our families, students and staff about what we should consider in our planning for school re-entry for the 2020-2021 school year. We will be collecting feedback until June 11 https://t.co/X3YzfNH5ZK #yycbe #WeAreCBE https://t.co/xpHFZLEc3H

CBE playgrounds remain closed. We will begin re-opening on Monday, June 1. Openings will continue throughout next week. Once the yellow tape has been removed and signs say the playground is open, the equipment can be used according to health guidelines. #yycbe #WeAreCBE #yyc https://t.co/zBid3GNq26
