CHS Weekly Update June 3-7

Dear Parents and Guardians,

These are your updates for the week June 3-7.

  • Tuesday, June 4 is Bike to School Day.  Bike to School day has been happening in Calgary since 2014 and this year it is expected that thousands of children will ride their bikes to school on this day.  Please visit this link to learn more about this initiative
  • If your child does ride their bike to school, please make sure they wear a helmet and have a lock with them so that they can secure their bike to one of our bike racks or to the chain link fence that surrounds the school.
  • Save the Date!!  On Friday, June 14 (6:30 – 8:45 am) we will be having our annual pancake breakfast.  Our fundraising society is offsetting the cost for us.  This means that for $3.00 per person, you can enjoy pancakes, sausage, and coffee or juice.  This is a great community-building event and we encourage everyone to join if possible.  No tickets are required and you can pay by cash the morning of the event.
  • On Friday, June 7, rooms 13A & 14A will be hosting an assembly at 9:30 am.  Parents of children in these classrooms are invited to join us in the gym.

Have a great weekend,

Mrs. Pelling
