All individuals are expected to dress appropriately for active learning in an elementary school setting. In order to help us maintain a clean and safe environment, they are also asked to remove outdoor footwear.

  • Hats and hoods are to be removed upon entering the school.
  • Obscenity or violence is not tolerated in our school. Clothing and personal belongings depicting violence, racism or inappropriate language are not permitted on school property
  • Footwear – In the event of a sudden school evacuation, children need to be prepared by wearing indoor shoes at all times. These should also be suitable for Phys. Ed. activities (i.e. running shoes which do not leave scuff marks). Appropriate outdoor shoes are also required for recess breaks and outdoor activities.
  • Dress appropriately for the weather. Outdoor winter activities often require snow pants, warm coats, mitts, and head wear. Rubber boots and/or umbrellas help in wet weather. Please ensure your children are appropriately dressed for inclement weather when participating in outdoor gym activities, riding the bus and for field trips.

If you need more information or guidance about our school's dress code, please feel free to Contact Us.
