Welcome Back to all Students and Staff

I anticipate great and exciting happenings for the 2018-2019 school year!

I hope you had a great summer and that you found time to relax and share some special moments with friends and family. We are excited to start our new school year together. This coming year will be a year full of new relationships, new opportunities and new experiences for you and your children as they explore their learning possibilities at Jack James High School.

We also welcome Forest Lawn High School students and staff who are coming to Jack James' “Centre of Excellence” for various programs and activities, and who are sharing our campus for their learning experience.

We care deeply about each and every student’s success at Jack James High School. Students, we look forward to our journey together this year and we admire your perseverance and resilient attitude. Our staff are passionate about the work they do and the success of our students which, when combined with your best efforts creates a winning combination for the Jack James Community. The Jack James School community is dedicated to the belief that all students, provided with a supportive learning environment, will experience success both as learners and citizens. We acknowledge our students must be prepared for the world they live in today and the world they will encounter in their future.

Our support for you is unwavering and we are confident that your attention to the following will result in your success:

  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Doing your best each day
  • Ask questions when you are unsure or need further understanding
  • A positive attitude towards learning
  • Taking risks to grow
  • Attempt and complete all assigned work and tests
  • Appreciate the talents and gifts you have

We are committed to providing you with “worthwhile" work every day at JJ this year. We expect your best and we pledge to do our best!

Please check the school website often to stay informed as to what is happening at the school. On the website you can click on “Back to School” to get important school start-up information, and here is where you will find our important dates, school information, and see all of the opportunities for you and the students at Jack James High School.

Again, we welcome you and your family to Jack James High School and I wish to extend our invitation to you to be an active and informed member of our school community. It is going to be a fantastic year!
