Get to know our principal and what’s going on in our school.
July 12
Welcome to James Fowler High School

As your principal, my wish is for all of you to have a memorable and successful year at our wonderful school.

All of our teachers and staff are here to assist you in acheiving in all of your courses. Take full advantage of the many courses, extra-curricular activities and excellent facilities offered at this school.

During this school year, make it your priority that you are here to work. Work hard in all of your courses, complete your assignments and study for your tests. Your teachers will be there for you if you require extra help outside of class time. Excellent attendance and being on time for your classes is an important part of your work at school as your commitment to learning will contribute to your success. Get to know your Assistant Principals as their key role is to support and guide you during your educational journey.

One of the main roles of our school is to prepare you for the world of work and further education beyond high school. Engage in opportunities to explore many careers that you might be interested in and our teachers and staff will assist you in designing your personal career pathway. Prepare yourself for life-long learning and believe in your achievements.

As James Fowler is a high school with over 1400 students, there are many opportunities for you to meet other students and develop new friendships. Become involved in the extra-curricular activities offered and become a part of creating a school community that is focused on sharing, giving and looking after each other.

James Fowler is a school for all students and your positive attitude and behaviour makes this school "a great place to learn." Enjoy your year! I look forward to meeting all of you.

Sincerely,
Keith Johnson
