Principal's Message

March 20, 2020

Thank you to our Families
First and foremost, thank you for being you. Thank you for raising such beautiful children and thank you for being the kind of people that when the going gets tough, you step up and do whatever is needed!
As hard as it was Thursday, you all came to get your child's personal items. You waved, connected at a distance, smiled and gave us virtual hugs. You will never know the value of your quiet presence that day.
Some of you have sent emails over the past few days with notes of kindness and encouragement. Some of you have connected with one another, reached out to help your neighbors and even sent us some fabulous photos of your children. Keep those emails coming!
Again, you have stepped up. You are carrying the torch of optimism and will make all the difference as we navigate the way forward together after the spring break. (Please note that we kept all the children's learning materials to help with program delivery for as long as classes are cancelled)
While this has been a difficult time for all, we are reminded of the strength of this community and we feel so incredibly grateful for the families that we serve. We've posted a few messages from staff on the windows and hope that you can reach out to us through out twitter feed.
At this time, as we go into the spring break, the most important thing to us is that you are healthy and well. We have heard so many good new stories of the "Helpers". There is a wonderful clip of Mr. Rogers talking about the helpers. If you haven't seen it we encourage you to watch it.
Take care, we miss you all!

Hello Families! Thank you for all that you are doing to help keep the world 🌎 safe! 💕 We are so looking forward too connecting with you early in the week! If you’ve changed your email or phone number please make those changes in PowerSchool.

RT @UsihChristopher: This is a challenging time for many of our students and families. We will be nimble and flexible as we adjust to a new learning environment. The well-being of students and staff take precedence over everything else. Grateful to CBE staff for their care and compassion! #WeAreCBE

RT @UsihChristopher: We know that our students and parents have many questions about student assessment, continuity of learning, preparation for postsecondary, scholarship applications etc. We’re working on providing answers to all of these questions after the break. Enjoy time with family & friends!

Make sure you’re taking care of yourselves! #recessbreak

Good morning families. ❤️ If you were not able to pick up your child’s personal belongings please connect with us after spring break. We will keep all items here for you 🤗. Email
