Happy Family Day! I hope you all have something a little bit special planned for today - be
it some quiet cocooning with loved ones at home, getting out and enjoying some crisp
winter weather, or doing something you don’t usually have time for.
One of the most common themes in the feedback from the January 16 Accommodation
Meeting was an interest in in pursuing modular classrooms for Altadore School as well a
desire for more clarity regarding why they are not an option. With this in mind, and given
the extended timeline for making a decision, I thought it was important to invite Dany
Breton, Superintendent of Facilities and Environmental Services to come to our School
Council meeting this week. He has agreed to come to the meeting to allow for a more
detailed discussion about modular (portable) classrooms and why they are not being
pursued by the CBE for our school. This meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 20
at 6:30 in the school library.
As previously communicated, responses to other frequently asked questions will be
coming to you by the end of February.
If you have any questions or I can be of help in any way, please do not hesitate to contact
me.

Principal, Altadore School
