Families will find many avenues to send and receive information at Auburn Bay School.  We find one communication method will not work for everyone, however there basic communication methods we will all find helpful.

  • School Website – This website is your best source for school information, reports, policies and important dates, as well as information about what's happening in our classes, links to our social media accounts, and news from the CBE.
  • Electronic Agendas & Teacher Blogs – Agenda information will be shared with families on grade team blogs.  Specific information about your child's classroom learning events will be shared.
  • Twitter Accounts – Grade Teams at Auburn Bay School will each have a twitter account.  The purpose of this account is to celebrate and share student learning with families.  The accounts will be locked and followers will require permission to see the twitter feed.
  • School Council - All Auburn Bay parents and guardians are invited to attend the monthly meetings of our school council. The Auburn Bay School Council is comprised of both parents and staff representatives. Our goal is to work together to create a positive learning environment for our children. Through the council, we can strengthen communication between home and school. We discuss and plan for our school’s future. We also support special events.
  • Parent Society - The Auburn Bay Fundraising Society works collaboratively with the School Council.  Highlights, dates and times of future meetings are published on our website.  You can learn more by visiting the Auburn Bay Parent Society Facebook page

Happy summer to all our amazing Auburn Bay Explorers! https://t.co/5L4jEOgBBc

RT @yyCBEdu: Today we sent a year end message to families about our planning for school re-entry this fall. Re-entry survey results and a transportation reminder. Check your email to read it online: https://t.co/qFKMVzfIHS #yycbe #WeAreCBE https://t.co/2V4iqs1Xqo

RT @yyCBEdu: Due to increased traffic, we’re experiencing issues with the online report card feature of PowerSchool. Check out these instructions on how to view your report card marks/indicators. Sorry for the inconvenience! https://t.co/8FwiAq3JGW #yycbe #WeAreCBE https://t.co/luTVdQ5J6M

RT @yyCBEdu: We will be emailing updates to families this summer about re-entry in September. Please make sure your school has your correct email address and you are subscribed to receive all messages https://t.co/oqz9WeTPy2 #yycbe #WeAreCBE https://t.co/6VGnqx6Er5

RT @yyCBEdu: We’re proud to honour Indigenous Peoples Day. We’ve been unable to hold many of our annual celebrations but we're committed to learning about the contributions & diverse cultures of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples throughout the year https://t.co/GBuHP67tBn #WeAreCBE

RT @yyCBEdu: Due to the impact of COVID-19 on our system and families, we have extended the transportation registration deadline to June 30. There are a number of important reasons to register to ensure service in the fall https://t.co/T2xW0dEPZC #yycbe #WEAreCBE https://t.co/drTDnthU9k

RT @MrsAliMiller: Thank you to everyone that participated in yesterdays 'Ninja Sports Day' from home! I loved receiving photos and videos from so many families. If you didn't have a chance to check it out you still can. Missing all of my little Auburn Bay Ninjas so much!

We hope all our friends had tons of fun Ninja Training! https://t.co/l3B1btW3hi

RT @MrsAliMiller: Sports Day is in 2 sleeps! Teachers will post a link on their google classroom so that you can access our Ninja Training Stations for Wednesday! Thank you to @JCS_Ravens for helping 😊 https://t.co/SMRQrNZTxc
