Traffic Safety

Ensuring our students get to school safely is everyone’s responsibility. Please be mindful of crosswalks, parking rules and speed limits when you are near our schools, especially during the morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal times.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up

For student safety and the overall reduction of congestion, the staff parking lot is not to be used for drop-off or pick-up. The bus parking zone is for buses and handicap marked vehicles. Parents should park on the street to drop-off/pick-up children. There is street parking along Canmore Road, Cochrane Road or Charlebois Drive with direct walk through to the school. Safety always comes first. Please do not drop off students on the other side of the street or allow them to jaywalk between cars or busses!  All visitors to the school must park on the street or in the south/west side of the parking lot.

Parents/Guardians wishing to pick up children prior to regular dismissal times must check in at the office, inform office staff and sign the child out indicating the date, time and reason for pickup. Children are not to leave the school grounds during the day unless signed out at the office first.
