Traffic Safety

Ensuring our students get to school safely is everyone’s responsibility. Please be mindful of crosswalks, parking rules and speed limits when you are near our schools, especially during the morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal times.

  • Battalion Park School has one cross walk that is supported by Grades 5 and 6 AMA Student Safety Patrols
  • Automobiles driven around our school must always obey Alberta School Zone speed limits (30km/h), 7:30 am – 9:00 pm.
  • Drivers may stop/park only at designated areas only (not in the middle of the road), and must observe caution and obey safety patrols, and all applicable traffic laws/bylaws.
  • Posted CBE signs restrict the use of the school parking lot – loading or unloading children in the parking lot is prohibited.
