First Day of Classes 

Our first day of classes for all students is Sept. 4, 2018 and the school office is open to parents on Aug. 29.

School Start & End Times

Kindergarten

Monday to Thursday

  • AM class: 9:10 – 11:55 am
  • PM class: 1:05 – 3:50 pm

Friday

  • 9:10 am – 1:20 pm

* AM and PM kindergarten classes attend on alternating Fridays.

Grades 1-5

Monday to Thursday

  • Morning: 9:10 – 12:30 pm
  • Lunch: 12:30 - 1:20 pm
  • Afternoon: 1:20 – 3:50 pm

Friday

  • 9:10 am – 1:20 pm

School Supply Lists  

At this time the school provides all school supplies. However, a backpack is a necessary purchase by parents to carry these items to and from school.

​Changes to My CBE Account

As of August 2018, the Calgary Board of Education has a new student information system which replaces the old My CBE Account. Parents who have not already done so, must create a new MyCBE/PowerSchool account to pay fees or apply for a waiver, register for transportation and noon supervision, as well as view student progress.

To create a new account go to www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe and click on "Create Parent Account". Families will need to have their child’s CBE Student ID Number. 

Fees and Waivers

School fees will be charged to families after the start of the school year in September and October. Online fee payment is the simplest and most convenient way to pay school fees. Parents can use their online account to pay fees or apply for a waiver at: www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe.

There are a number of different ways you are able to pay school fees, including: online using VISA, MasterCard, VISA Debit or Interac Online; in-person at schools; or by sending in a cheque to the school or CBE.​

Yellow School Bus Tra​nsportation

Yellow school bus routes for the 2018-19 school year are created over the summer based on the addresses submitted before the pre-registration deadline in June. While CBE Transportation continues to accept registrations, these registrations will not be considered until route changes are done after Thanksgiving.

Yellow school bus route maps are posted on the CBE website: www.cbe.ab.ca/busstop.

In October, a confirmation email will be sent to all parents/guardians who have submitted a pre-registration. It will include transportation fee information and payment options (if applicable). Families can cancel their pre-registration with no financial penalty by responding to the email or canceling using ​MyCBE/PowerSchool by October 31, 2018.

Conditional riders can also register using MyCBE/PowerSchool. Applications will be considered after eligible rides registrations have been processed.
