Eco Leaders | May-June 2018

Our Eco-leaders from grade 4 and 5 recently volunteered at Sunnyside Market where they presented to the public, educating them more about our process this year of learning about vermiculture, plants, eating locally and reducing our carbon footprint as a school. Students will be donating all of the money raised to Grow Calgary so other students can also start their own gardens that may not have had the opportunity to otherwise. They will be presenting at the Mayor’s Expo, Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at City Hall about this important eco initiative.
