In the event of student absence, the parent/guardian is asked to call the school Attendance Line and leave a message. 

Medical Conditions

Please inform the school if your child has any medical condition and/or requires medications while at school. If a child needs any prescriptions dispensed at school there must be a doctor’s signed Student Health Plan form on file at the school. You can pick up this form at the school office or on the CBE Forms You Need page.

Allergy Safe School

It is critical that parents, students and guardians are aware that some children at Capitol Hill School have severe allergies, not only to nuts but to other things such as grains, insects, etc. We ask for your support to ensure that you do not send your child(ren) to school with any food items containing nuts or nut products in their lunches and snacks, or in products for classroom parties or bake sales.

It is imperative for students who have a severe allergy to carry their epi-pen in a fanny pack on them at all times

Parents must complete medical forms yearly (the forms have been updated). They are available at the office. Please ensure that the office and the homeroom teacher have also been notified about your child’s allergies.
