Our students, staff and school community share the responsibility of building a safe, positive, inclusive, equitable and welcoming learning environment. The staff at Colonel Irvine is dedicated to personalizing student learning through meaningful engagement of the curriculum by using collaborative planning practices. Student ownership is important.

Keys for student success include:

  • participating in hands-on, purposeful and relevant learning
  • creating positive relationships with peers, teachers and other adults 
  • being actively involved in the community and feeling supported by family, businesses and other organizations that surround them.

Our goal is to enhance our learner’s ability to think critically and creatively, using multiple forms of literacy to represent and communicate understanding. We will work to provide students with a curriculum that is engaging, examines big ideas, issues and questions in depth, and that has multiple entry points to personalize learning for all students.

CBE Spring Break runs Mar. 23 – 27 for Traditional Calendar Schools, until Apr. 3 for Modified Calendar Schools. CBE Schools are closed during this time. Students and Staff, enjoy your time off, be safe and take care of yourselves. #WeAreCBE
