CBE schools provide students in Grades 1-6 or in full-day kindergarten with the option of staying at school for lunch. If students opt to stay at school, they are required to pay for noon supervision service. This service provides students the opportunity to practice social skills supported by caring adult supervision.

The program requires registration and there is a fee to participate. A waiver process is in place for families who cannot afford to pay fees.

Visit the CBE website for more information, including how to register.

Colonel Walker School offers a CBE run lunch program. Please ask at the school office for the monthly fees for the lunch supervision. There are special drop-in rates for students who stay occasionally for clubs or intramurals. All students who participate in the lunch program are required to register in advance. Students go outside after lunch for a supervised recess.
