Traffic Safety

Ensuring our students get to school safely is everyone’s responsibility. Please be mindful of crosswalks, parking rules and speed limits when you are near our schools, especially during the morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal times.

Parking Lot

Please do not drop-off or pick up students in the staff parking lot or in the Bus zone. A loading zone on southbound 10th street, east of the playground is for pick-up and drop-off. Cars left in the parking lot without CBE identification will be ticketed. Volunteers will be given temporary parking permits if space is available.

School Patrols

We are excited to announce that this year at Connaught we will be continuing our Safety Patrols Team of students to help children and families cross the street safely at the intersection of 10 Street and 13 Avenue SW. Students in Grades 4-6 participate in Patrols. They are strong leaders and Connaught citizens who are passionate about contributing to our sense of community.
