One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Under the School Act, a parent society is a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. The school principal is not part of this group. More information can be found in our CBE Administrative Regulation 5001 – School Councils and School/Parent Societies.

Our Parent Society is known as The Crossing Park School Society

Our parent society is a registered society that formally supports initiatives such as raising funds for the purchase of equipment for a school playground. A casino has been approved for this coming year. Parents are always welcome to attend any of the meetings.
