Congratulations to Mr. McClary and all our band students for another successful winter concert. What a great way to end the fall semester!

The fall bacon fundraiser was quite successful – thanks to all who participated! We will be holding another fundraiser in the spring, stay tuned for details.

  • The next DTS Band Society meeting will take place on Thursday, January 9th, at 7:00 p.m. in the DTS Staff Room. All Parents are welcome to attend.
  • If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Alison at dtsbandsociety.vicepresident@gmail.com. Parents are required to have a current PRC in order to volunteer.

Look Ahead to 2020

  • Band Camp:  Grade 8’s & 9’s: February 5th -7th; Grade 6’s & 7’s: April 1st-3rd
  • Alberta International Band Festival (AIBF):  Grade 8’s & 9’s: the week of February 19th – 25th; Grade 6’s & 7’s: Either April 15th or 16th
  • Lord Beaverbrook Feeder Event: Grade 8’s & 9’s may play at this event
