Running Club

Miss Goodine and Mrs. Helsen will be offering students the Run Club on Mondays and Wednesdays between Monday, May 7 and Wednesday, June 6 from 11:35 – 12:00. The run will consist of a quick warm up followed by a run through Mount Royal, along the Elbow River or Elbow Park. The runs will be between 2 and 3 km in distance. The Run Club will be held at the beginning of lunch. Students will have a chance to eat their lunch after the run. Run Club is open to students from Grades 1 – 4.

We will celebrate the end of the run club with a time chipped fun run on Saturday, June 9. This race is the Run for Water and is completely optional. Last year many of the Run Club members and their families ran in the 5 km race, it was a great day for all who participated. If you are planning on running in the race you will be responsible for your own child(ren). You can register on the Run for Water web page https://www.runforwater.ca/cal... by clicking on register, join a team and type “Earl Grey School”
