Québec Trip October 2018

Meetings:

April 23rd, 2018 | 6:00pm in the library

October 1st, 2018 | 6:00pm in the library

Our Québec field-trip for 2018 is on its way! Please markApril 23rd and October 1st, 2018 in your calendars and please plan on attending. The first meeting will be an introduction to the Ottawa and Québec trip as well as expectations and costs. The second and final meeting prior to our departure will give an opportunity to go over final information pertinent to the well being of participants and parents (i.e. the itinerary of activities, arrival and departure times, addresses of hotels, protocols for reaching us, discussing items students should and should not take along, medication guidelines and other important topics).

Additionally, a clear photocopy of the identification that your son or daughter will be using at the airport (issuance of boarding pass and boarding at the gate), as well, a photocopy of your child’s Alberta Health Card will also need to be collected, at the latest, during the final parent meeting (October 1st).  CBE is recommending that, we as supervisors, no longer take and hold on to actual personal documents. We will then make a duplicate copy to be held by the supervisors and the other copy will reside with your son or daughter. Many thanks for bringing these items in a timely manner.

We are all looking forward to an exciting learning experience, where we will be speaking French and learning more about Canadian history and French Canadian culture.
