Attendance Line: 403-777-8500 ext. 1.

Phone in for Safety

We ask that parents phone our attendance line above if their child is going to be late or absent from school. This line is checked twice each day. As a courtesy, we will attempt to contact you if your child is absent and no previous notification was given. Students arriving late to school must report to the office where they will sign in and pick up a late slip prior to admittance to their class.

Picking Up Students for Appointments

When picking up children for appointments please:

  • If possible, inform the teacher before so that the child is ready
  • Come to the office so that your child can be called (if they are not waiting)
  • Sign out your child in the register in the office
  • When picking up lunchroom children during the lunch hour, please come into the school, inform the lunchroom supervisor and sign out your child in the register in the office.

Attendance Expectations at the CBE

We believe there is a strong correlation between attendance and effective education. The CBE Administrative Regulation 6020 - Attendance of Students regulation applies to all of our students, and outlines the responsibilities for students, parents and school staff.

RT @mustardseedyyc: Today @CrescentCowboys student Alex and his friends came by The Mustard Seed with bags full of @McDonaldsCanada sandwiches to hand out to those experiencing homelessness! Why did he do this? Because it's his birthday and he wanted to give back. Thank you Alex! @Crackmacs https://t.co/rWYZq2qKyW
