At our last Enrichment Society meeting on Thursday, November 29, we were presented with the 2019-20 Wish List from Sra. Greenlaw. This year’s wish list was the result of the school staff carefully considering the current needs for
student resources and learning opportunities. This list represents what our school community will be raising funds for through our various fundraisers and special events. We want to thank everyone who has and continues to support our endeavors to enhance the learningexperiences at Eugene Coste!

 Flexible Seating (raylax chairs etc): $1,392
 Sensory Room Materials (heavy work, noise cancelling headphones etc): $275
 Classroom libraries – independent reading: $5,000
 Bus for field trips: $4,800
 IPad Apps: $100
 Residencies-e.g. Jessica McMann hoop dancer, Ewa Sniatycka artist, Marcos
    dance: $16,000 ($1,000 per class)
 Elder Funding: $250 ½ Day Honorarium
 Storage materials for Learning Commons: $150
 Robotics materials: Cublets Constructors Pack, Power Tiles Masters Set: $2,700
 Green Screen: $120
 Literature Circle Book Sets (4/5): $300
 Microphones for iPads and computers: $250 (cost for set of 10)
 Wireless microphones for gym: $400 Microphone stands & boom arms: $175 (cost

Donating to Our School

From a donations perspective, ways to give to our school include:

  • Contributing cash: donations over $25 are tax deductible and cheques can be made out to the Calgary Board of Education

  • Providing in-kind donations: to donate school supplies and equipment, contact us directly

CBE Spring Break runs Mar. 23 – 27 for Traditional Calendar Schools, until Apr. 3 for Modified Calendar Schools. CBE Schools are closed during this time. Students and Staff, enjoy your time off, be safe and take care of yourselves. #WeAreCBE
