One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Under the School Act, a parent society is a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. The school principal is not part of this group. More information can be found in our CBE Administrative Regulation 5001 – School Councils and School/Parent Societies.

The Eugene Coste School Enrichment Society

Our Parent Society is known as the Eugene Coste School Enrichment Society (ECSES). We are very fortunate to have an active support base in our school and we encourage parents/guardians to participate and attend meeting. We are always interested in new members to help build our school community!

If you would like to become a member of the Enrichment Society and/or receive information about fundraising events, please complete the '2019-20 Council & Society Contact Form'.

Fun Lunch Volunteers | We are in need of Volunteers to help out on our scheduled Fun Lunches for this school year. Our Fun Lunch Coordinator, Jennifer, does a great job organizing fun lunches through Healthy Hunger, but we need people to help sort and deliver the lunches to the students. If you are interested in being part of the Fun Lunch Committee, please contact Jennifer at ecsfunlunch@gmail.com or Maria at ecsenrichmentsociety@gmail.com.

Committees

The secret to any successful fundraising event is the TEAM that helps create, organize and support it! There are many ways that you can become involved, whether it is becoming a member of a special committee, volunteering for a fundraising event or lending us your expertise and skills on a project. If you are interested in helping out, please contact us!
