The school office is open to parents on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 @ 9:00 am.

Noon Supervision 

We provide students with the option of staying at the school for lunch. Students bring their own lunch. Noon supervision begins on Tuesday, September 3, 2019

Assigned Teachers

Teachers will email families to welcome their students to their class by Friday, August 30th.  Parents are invited to accompany their children to class on September 3rd, during our flexible entry from 8:10 to 8:30 am.

Kindergarten

Kindergarten classes will participate in a staggered entry. This schedule will be emailed to parents. Please meet your classroom teacher at the door on the south side of the school nearest the parking lot.

Do You Have a MyCBE / PowerSchool Parent Account?

Parents who have not already done so, must create an account in MyCBE / PowerSchool to:

  • Pay fees or apply for a waiver

  • Register for transportation and noon supervision

  • View student progress

To create a new account, go to www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe and click on Create Parent Account. You will need to have your child(ren)’s CBE Student ID Number and use your email on file at the school.​

Fees and Waivers

School fees will be charged to families after the start of the school year in September and October. Online fee payment is the simplest and most convenient way to pay school fees. Parents can use their online account to pay fees or apply for a waiver at: www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe.

Yellow School Bus Tra​nsportation

Yellow school bus routes for the 2019-20 school year are created over the summer and based on the addresses submitted before the pre-registration deadline in May. While CBE Transportation continues to accept pre-registrations, these will not be considered until route changes are done after Thanksgiving.

In October, a confirmation email will be sent to all parents/guardians who have submitted a pre-registration, if the parent/guardian has subscribed to receive messages. It will include transportation fee information (if applicable) and payment options (if applicable). Families can cancel their pre-registration with no financial penalty using MyCBE / PowerSchool by Oct. 31, 2019.

More information about 2019-20 transportation service levels and proposed fees are posted on the CBE website.

Conditional riders can also register using MyCBE / PowerSchool. Applications will be considered after eligible riders registrations have been processed.​​​
