Our CBE Student Code of Conduct and CBE Progressive Student Discipline regulation apply to all of our students. They outline the roles and expectations for our students to promote positive and inclusive learning environments, help students to develop empathy and become good citizens both within and outside of the school community, and explain the consequences when a student’s disruptive behaviour negatively affects the learning environment.

Our CBE Employee Code of Conduct applies to all of our employees. The CBE maintains high standards for the conduct of its employees, and expects them to conduct themselves honestly and with integrity and exercise common sense, good judgement and discretion.

Expectations of Students

Students are expected to behave in a caring manner towards each other at all times. The children are expected to respect themselves, respect others, and others' property and to apply themselves diligently to their schoolwork. A focus for our school is to create an environment where children feel safe and can learn in a risk-free manner. To assist us in our endeavors, we focus on developing positive character and leadership in our students. The ultimate goal is to create students who are self-disciplined and reflective of their behaviours and their actions.

In managing student behaviour, teachers will generally deal with problems that may arise. In areas of severe or habitual behaviour problems, there will be intervention by the school's administration. Parental involvement is crucial in these incidents. In the most severe cases, suspensions from regular school activities will occur.
