NEW ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
As previously communicated, Ms. Kaine’s  last day will be Friday May 31. We will say goodbye formally to Ms. Kaine with the whole school in attendance at the end of the Talent Show assembly on Friday morning, and send her off with lots of hugs and wishes as she enters her new role. We know she is a star and will shine in her new position.
I am very pleased to announce that Kim Boucher has been hired to fill the Assistant Principal position in the fall. Ms. Boucher will be visiting Glenbrook several times during June, to make the transition smoother. Our Learning Leader, Mr. Kowalchuk will have a substitute in for the last four weeks in order to assist with administrative duties for the month of June, in the absence of a full time AP.  Ms. Kim Boucher has lovely people skills and a wealth of experience and expertise. She has a very strong background in resource work, supporting diverse populations and complex needs. Ms. Boucher also possesses a solid pedagogy in supporting teachers around task design, personalized learning, and for setting student goals and strategies for ongoing improvement. Her diverse background experiences in K-12 and strong skill set make her an excellent fit for the Assistant Principal position at Glenbrook.
