Our CBE Student Code of Conduct and CBE Progressive Student Discipline regulation apply to all of our students. They outline the roles and expectations for our students to promote positive and inclusive learning environments, help students to develop empathy and become good citizens both within and outside of the school community, and explain the consequences when a student’s disruptive behaviour negatively affects the learning environment.

Our CBE Employee Code of Conduct applies to all of our employees. The CBE maintains high standards for the conduct of its employees, and expects them to conduct themselves honestly and with integrity and exercise common sense, good judgement and discretion.

School Bus Rules & Expectations

Students are expected to honour school values and follow the code of conduct at all times on the school bus. Students are asked to follow the driver’s directions at all times. A copy of the bus rules will be made available to all bus riders at the start of the school year. Safety of our students is our primary concern and students who do not comply with the rules of the bus will be given a misconduct form and parents will be notified. A misconduct may result in a suspension from riding the bus. The length of the suspension will depend on the circumstances surrounding the misconduct.

CBE playgrounds remain closed. We will begin re-opening on Monday, June 1. Openings will continue throughout next week. Once the yellow tape has been removed and signs say the playground is open, the equipment can be used according to health guidelines. #yycbe #WeAreCBE #yyc https://t.co/zBid3GNq26
