Our Grade 5 and 6 Mandarin Program students will have a lunch room program starting on Sept 5. They will be supervised during the first half of the lunch time in a classroom and will be outside during the second half of the lunch hour. Grade 5 and 6 students are required to stay on campus during the lunch break. Grade 7 – 9 students will be allowed to leave campus during the lunch hour. We offer inside and outside supervision during the lunch hour for students who remain at school. Our Tuck Shop offers morning snacks and lunch items for very reasonable prices.

Changes to My CBE Account

As of August 2018, the Calgary Board of Education has a new student information system which replaces the old My CBE Account. Parents who have not already done so, must create a new MyCBE/PowerSchool account to pay fees or apply for a waiver, register for transportation and noon supervision, as well as view student progress.

To create a new account go to www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe and click on "Create Parent Account". Families will need to have their child’s CBE Student ID Number.

Fees and Waivers

School fees will be charged to families after the start of the school year in September and October. Online fee payment is the simplest and most convenient way to pay school fees. Parents can use their online account to pay fees or apply for a waiver at: www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe.

There are a number of different ways you are able to pay school fees, including: online using VISA, MasterCard, VISA Debit or Interac Online; in-person at schools; or by sending in a cheque to the school or CBE.

You can find more information on the CBE school fees and waivers page.

Further Information

We look forward to a great year ahead. If you have any questions that we haven’t addressed here, please contact the school.
