Learning Commons at the CBE

Today’s learners cannot imagine life without the internet and supporting technology. The concept of the traditional library is changing to include technology, online tools and spaces for collaboration and exploration.

Our Library

The library consists of one PC lab consisting of 31 computers, one Media Center consisting of 6 computers and one sections to accommodate one classes. If you are doing research, be sure to return books to the top shelf from where you obtained them. This will help keep our library clean and ensure that books are reshelved in a faster manner. Food and beverages are not allowed in the library. Remember to clean up your area of debris and push your chair in prior to departure.

Borrowing Rules

You must have your student card or ID number in order to sign out library materials. Students may sign out a total of up to five novels for a period of two weeks. Encyclopedias, Atlases and Almanacs are overnight use only. Text books are loaned out for the year. Please return all books to the return slot located on the library desk.

Students will not be able to sign out any library materials until they have renewed or returned their overdue materials. If you have lost your book please advise the library as soon as possible to make arrangements for it's replacement cost.

Hours

The library opens at 8:30 am and is accessible during the lunch hour, Monday through Thursday. On Friday the library is open from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
