This year, students will be exploring the following virtues based on traditional Indigenous stories retold by Indigenous authors.

  • September: Le respect - Respect
  • October: La sagesse - Good judgement
  • November: L'honnêteté - Honesty
  • December: L'amour - Love
  • January: Le courage - Courage
  • February: L'humilité - Modesty
  • March: Le pardon - Forgiveness
  • April: La bonté - Caring
  • May: Le compromis - Compromise
  • June: La détermination - Determination

Student Voice

To promote citizenship and character, students at King George School have the opportunity to have a voice in decision making. Student Voice representatives from each class (grade 1 to 6) are responsible for sharing or gathering important information from their classmates; identifying, discussing and solving student issues with the administration; and organizing special events during the school year.
