Lost and Found Items

Unclaimed clothing and other articles will be put in Lost and Found Boxes found in our entrance area at the North doors of the school. Children should be encouraged to check the “Lost and Found” for lost personal items. Lost and Found items are displayed during Parent Teacher Conferences. Any items, which are not claimed, are donated to charity.

Valuables

We discourage students from bringing valuable personal items to school as they are subject to loss, theft or damage. The school cannot be responsible for the loss of personal items. If valuable items are found, they should be taken to the office, not left in the lost and found box.

Bicycles, Scooters, Skateboards & Heelys

We certainly encourage active living practices with children such as riding a bicycle to school. Upon arrival at the school and for the safety of all students, cyclists are expected to walk bicycles on school grounds during school hours. When bicycles are brought to school they should be locked in the bicycle rack provided.

The school cannot be responsible for bicycles damaged or stolen while they are at school. In addition, safety regulations require that skateboards, roller blades and Heelys are not to be brought to school or used on school property.

Thank you to those families who came out to the grade 1 celebration of learning today. They have been learning all about cause and effect by designing Rube Goldberg machines. They are then transferring their learning to what cause and effect looks like in an ecosystem.

Learning the science of wetlands and ecosystems today through drama. Thanks to @Evergreen_Th for inspiring our thinking and your creative story telling. https://t.co/vIasS9Wo8I

It was a #pinkshirt kind of day. Many of our students were engaged in fantastic conversations about the power of collective kindness. Way to go Maple Ridge! https://t.co/beX1EgXCyV
