Remembrance Day

Grade 3 students in Miss Skunta's class completed a Peace Wordle to emphasize important words that bring them a sense of belonging and calm. Additionally, they painted poppies using coffee filters and Tempra paints with which they adorned their class' Remembrance Day wreath.

Much of the work that is done at the school is also showcased through the social media platformTwitter.  Follow us on Twitter @mckenzie_lake to see all the other exciting things happening at our school.

Hey @NBrightonSchool Congrats on the funding for a playground! Perhaps a ninja course? See below for inspiration. https://t.co/n4lMuc5A8a

RT @yyCBEdu: We are seeking input from our families, students and staff about what we should consider in our planning for school re-entry for the 2020-2021 school year. We will be collecting feedback until June 11 https://t.co/X3YzfNH5ZK #yycbe #WeAreCBE https://t.co/xpHFZLEc3H

RT @yyCBEdu: CBE playgrounds remain closed. We will begin re-opening on Monday, June 1. Openings will continue throughout next week. Once the yellow tape has been removed and signs say the playground is open, the equipment can be used according to health guidelines. #yycbe #WeAreCBE #yyc https://t.co/zBid3GNq26

RT @HeatherMMcKay: Great example of #WeAreCBE spirit. Hey @calgaryherald wouldn’t it be great to publish a good news story!? https://t.co/shhJrcmtXf
