Teachers sponsor clubs throughout the year based on interest and are generally held at lunchtime. 

Grade 3 and 4 Choir

In the fall interested students meet once a week to learn songs and prepare for a choir concert in December. This year our choirs will be performing on December 13th at 1:00pm and again at 6:30pm

Grade 4 Coding Club

In this club students will explore a variety of computer programming activities including “Scratch” and will have an opportunity to create their own programs. All Grade four students are invited to participate in our coding club that will take place at MLS. We will be holding this club in 2  groups of four sessions apiece as follows:

Group 1- November 27th, December 4th, December 11th, December 18th

 Grade 2 children are invited to join the Thursday, “Rainbow Loom Club”. It will start Thursday, December 6th and run until Thursday, December 20th. If we have enough interested then we will run another rainbow loom club in the new year. 


Chess Club

Students learn how to play chess and enjoy the opportunity to play against their peers. Students can learn to play here at https://www.chesskid.com/
