Assessment and Reporting at the CBE

We know it is important for parents/guardians to understand how their children are doing in school. Research shows that students are more successful with active parent/guardian involvement.

The report card is one component in communicating student learning. In addition to the report card, schools communicate with parents/guardians about student progress on an ongoing basis in a variety of ways.

Assessment happens every day, in every classroom, throughout the school year. Assessing a student’s progress is one of the most important ways we support the continued learning of our students.

We have developed some resources related to assessment and report cards, and to help you learn more about your child's learning. As more resources are developed, you will find them here.

Some schools are moving to digital report cards. For help with accessing student assessment and reporting information, please refer to the information in the MyCBE/PowerSchool Support section of our website.

Visit the CBE website for more information on Assessment & Reporting at the CBE.

Teachers at Mount Royal School were so excited to be able to connect with their students this week in Google Meet! Looking forward to continue next week. Just a few little reminders when engaging in online meetings: https://t.co/f06Ijt12hi

RT @principalfero: iPhone or iPads actually have a scanner! If you are planning to scan any work to your teachers use Notes App. Open a new note, press the camera button, the option to scan document will pop up. Once scanned, you can email it with less band width than a photo. @CBELearningTech https://t.co/0IHryJuVWx

Our awesome teachers hosted their first Google Meets with our awesome students today. Teachers were so excited to reconnect! Remember to use your gmail-“educbe”account to login and to email teachers if you are having challenges. We are so Proud of all of you! #lionpride. https://t.co/OJVc4R1PqX
