Students in the Calgary Board of Education travel to school in a variety ways, including walking, taking yellow buses or Calgary Transit or being driven by parents/guardians. Their safety is important, no matter how they get to school and home again.​​​

City of Calgary Friday Afternoon Program

The City of Calgary is pleased to offer child care for students Kindergarten to Grade 2 at the Niitsitapi Learning Centre on Friday afternoons. The program will run from 12:00 PM (dismissal time) to 2:00 PM and will be held at the Niitsitapi Learning Centre.

Please note, transportation will not be provided and caregivers are required to pick-up students no later than 2:15 PM. Students will also need to bring a lunch. Snacks will be provided. For more information or to register, please contact Renee Walker at renee.walker@calgary.ca
