First Day of Classes

Our first day of classes is Tuesday, September 3 and the school office is open to parents on Monday, August 28.

Grade 1-6

Morning-8:30 AM-12:15 PM (recess break 10:30-10:45 AM)

12:15-1:00 PM (lunch break)

Afternoon-1:00 PM-3:00 PM

Early Dismissal at 12:41 every Friday

Kindergarten AM (Monday-Thursday) 8:30 AM-11:20 AM Alternating Fridays 8:30-11:20 AM

Kindergarten PM (Monday-Thursday) 12:10-3:00 PM Alternating Fridays 8:30-11:20 AM

Kindergarten classes begin on Tuesday, September 3. In the morning, please meet your teacher at the South entrance off the parking lot and playground or for the afternoon, in the front hallway by the office.

Do You Have a MyCBE / PowerSchool Parent Account?

Parents who have not already done so, must create an account in MyCBE / PowerSchool to:

  • Pay fees or apply for a waiver

  • Register for transportation and noon supervision

  • View student progress

To create a new account, go to www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe and click on Create Parent Account. You will need to have your child(ren)’s CBE Student ID Number and use your email on file at the school.​

Fees and Waivers

School fees will be charged to families after the start of the school year in September and October. Online fee payment is the simplest and most convenient way to pay school fees. Parents can use their online account to pay fees or apply for a waiver at: www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe.

Yellow School Bus Tra​nsportation

Yellow school bus routes for the 2019-20 school year are created over the summer and based on the addresses submitted before the pre-registration deadline in May. While CBE Transportation continues to accept pre-registrations, these will not be considered until route changes are done after Thanksgiving.

In October, a confirmation email will be sent to all parents/guardians who have submitted a pre-registration, if the parent/guardian has subscribed to receive messages. It will include transportation fee information (if applicable) and payment options (if applicable). Families can cancel their pre-registration with no financial penalty using MyCBE / PowerSchool by Oct. 31, 2019.

Conditional riders can also register using MyCBE / PowerSchool. Applications will be considered after eligible riders registrations have been processed.​​​
