Lunchtime Attendance Line: 403-777-7480 ext. 1

It is important that you call the lunchtime program attendance line if your child is absent.

Lunchtime Hours & Supervision

Students are reminded of the importance of bringing a healthy and filling lunch. Proper nutrition and hydration supports student learning! Lunch is to be eaten in designated areas. At lunch, students are asked to follow the expectations of the lunchroom supervisors. After eating, unless involved in a supervised activity, students are to remain in the designated lunchroom area until supervision on the playground and in the library begins. The computer lab will only be accessible to students completing assignments. Students are expected to clean up the lunchroom prior to leaving.

Elementary lunchroom students are not allowed to leave the school grounds at lunchtime without written permission. Students in grades 7-9 are permitted to leave the school during lunchtime though they must ensure that they return back to school on time for afternoon classes.

Vending machines

The school’s vending machine is located on the physical education foyer. It is available for use at lunch and after school. Please remember that food and drinks are not allowed in classrooms without teacher permission. Cans and wrappers are to be recycled using the numerous recycling and garbage bins in the hallways.

Allergies

Parents must indicate any special health concerns on the school registration for their child and are encouraged to ensure classroom teachers are also aware of health issues. For more information about this and other health concerns visit our Illness & Medical page.

RT @Mathgarden: Grades are not only dehumanizing, they are statistically inaccurate. Any teacher who hums and haws about **bumping up** a grade from 77 to 80(for cosmetic purposes) doesn't realize there must be at least a 10% **error** to issue that grade in the first place.

RT @robertkaplinsky: I love this context for introducing Least Common Multiple to students. How many hot dogs and buns should Steve Martin buy? https://t.co/PnsbKZazot #iteachmath #MTBoS https://t.co/iQFZYPBE5E

RT @mashupmath: Kids can better grasp math topics when they think about and express them visually and creatively! #21stEdChat https://t.co/Egc41YlDMF
