One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Under the School Act, a parent society is a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. The school principal is not part of this group. More information can be found in our CBE Administrative Regulation 5001 – School Councils and School/Parent Societies.

RT @blanchardyyc: What a creative day @mrs_prangnell & I had with @SparkShiftLab at their conference. We are so fortunate to have @TELUS_Spark here! 👍 https://t.co/Ue55yrO3x5

RT @UsihChristopher: We will continue to engage and support our principals as we problem-solve to minimize the impact of the budget shortfall on student learning. While the funding gap presents a challenge for the CBE, our commitment to our students will not waiver. Thank you all. #WeAreCBE
