​Every student who is new to the CBE needs to register at their designated school. Everyone has a designated school based on their home address and the program they choose. You can find your designated school by using our Find a School tool.

To register, please:

  1. Complete the Student Registration Form

  2. Bring the registration form, original copies showing your child’s proof of age and legal name (birth certificate, passport or court documents) and proof of your address (the principal may ask to see one or more of the following: driver’s licence, municipal/federal correspondence, financial/residential documents or a utility bill) to the school

Grade 10 Feeder School Students

Open House | January 16, 2019

  • Grade 9 tours 9:00-11:00 & 12:00-2:00
  • Parent information 6:00 – 8:00

Course Selection Information

Grade 10 course selection presentations will be completed at all feeder schools during early January 2019. Course selections will be done online via MyCBE/Powerschool from January 17 - February 4, 2019.

Transfers Requests to RTHS

CBE students living outside RTHS boundaries can request a Transfer through the process outlined below. This is only a “request” to transfer not a guarantee. 

  1. Go to your designated high school and ask for a Request to Transfer form.
  2. Meet with Administration at your designated school and have them sign the Transfer Request.
  3. Deliver transfer forms to RTHS by March 15, 2018.
  4. RTHS will consult with other high schools and make the final decision based on programming and resources available.

Grade 11 & 12 Students at RTHS

Course Selection Information 

During the month of February 2019, course selection presentations will be completed for all current Grade 10 and 11 students in Focus/Connect. Course selections will be done online via MyCBE/Powerschool from February 4 - 19, 2019.

Registering Non-CBE Students

  1. Priority given to in boundary students.
  2. Second priority to siblings of students attending RTHS.
  3. Third priority to CBE students out of boundary.
  4. Fourth priority to non-resident students, for example, other school districts.

Registration Packages are available on our website or for pickup at the main office Monday through Friday from
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Please call the main office at 403-817-3400 to set up an appointment with one of the Assistant Principals to submit and
review your registration package.

If you would like to transfer from one CBE school to another, please refer to the instructions in the request to transfer form.
