Our first full day of classes are:

  • Grades 1 to 4September 3, 2019
  • Kindergarten: September 5, 2019

The school office is open to parents on Aug. 28, 2019.

There is staggered entry for kindergarten students as follows:

  • Tuesday, Sep. 3:      

             8:30 – 9:30 AM,  9:45 – 10:45 AM, 12:00 – 1:00 PM and 1:15 - 2:15 PM

  • Wednesday, Sep. 4: 

             8:30 – 9:30 AM,  9:45 – 10:45 AM, 12:00 – 1:00 PM and 1:15 - 2:15 PM

Please refer to your kindergarten package mailed out the third week of June for your specific time and date.

Assigned Teachers

Grade 1 students go to the gymnasium.
Grade 2-4 students go to their assigned grade door entry on Sep. 3 where teachers will indicate who their students are.

  • Grade 2 entrance-east door next to portable
  • Grade 3 entrance- west door next to basketball nets
  • Grade 4 entrance- west door next to field

Kindergarten

Kindergarten classes begin on Sep. 3 or 4. Please meet your teacher at the west entrance next to the basketball nets.

Do You Have a MyCBE / PowerSchool Parent Account?

Parents who have not already done so, must create an account in MyCBE / PowerSchool to:

  • Pay fees or apply for a waiver

  • Register for transportation and noon supervision

  • View student progress

To create a new account, go to www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe and click on Create Parent Account. You will need to have your child(ren)’s CBE Student ID Number and use your email on file at the school.​

Fees and Waivers

School fees will be charged to families after the start of the school year in September and October. Online fee payment is the simplest and most convenient way to pay school fees. Parents can use their online account to pay fees or apply for a waiver at: www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe.

Yellow School Bus Tra​nsportation

Yellow school bus routes for the 2019-20 school year are created over the summer and based on the addresses submitted before the pre-registration deadline in May. While CBE Transportation continues to accept pre-registrations, these will not be considered until route changes are done after Thanksgiving.

In October, a confirmation email will be sent to all parents/guardians who have submitted a pre-registration, if the parent/guardian has subscribed to receive messages. It will include transportation fee information (if applicable) and payment options (if applicable). Families can cancel their pre-registration with no financial penalty using MyCBE / PowerSchool by Oct. 31, 2019.

More information about 2019-20 transportation service levels and proposed fees are posted on the CBE website.

Conditional riders can also register using MyCBE / PowerSchool. Applications will be considered after eligible riders registrations have been processed.​​​
