Principal's Message

Principal Farewell

After 3 years at University School I’ll be passing the torch to another principal. It has been an incredible opportunity to be apart of this amazing learning community. Your children have been learners with their big questions, insightful ideas, thoughtful suggestions, creative solutions and unique wonderings. The community spirit of this school is unique and the students interests and engagement are the central force. This year saw the Winter Concert, Entrepreneurial Adventures Carnival in support of ARF, the Science Fair, 50th Anniversary Choir, 50th Anniversary Legacy Art, and Student Council Spirit Days and so many other initiatives. We are so proud of the learning that your children have been engaged with as they have explored the community, University Campus and nearby parks. We appreciate the parents and guardians that help us so many things each and everyday: providing fruit for Fuelling Learning, reading with students, helping in the classroom, going on field trips, shelving books in the library, serving pizza, organizing special events, attending meetings, organizing the Book Fair and the Green Store, working in the garden, and oh so much more. We really can’t do it without you and you help to make our learning community so amazing. The staff at our school have been incredible with your children and they are truly committed to this important work and arrive at school every morning with the hope of making a difference in your child’s life in some way each and every day. Their talents, thoughtfulness and caring create the magic that makes learning come alive in the classroom. We believe in your children and what they CAN already do and hope to inspire them to achieve what they ASPIRE to do! Have a great summer everyone!
