The Aberhart Social Action Club along with Abe Music Council are working together to raise awareness around Domestic Violence.  Working with the Calgary Women’s Shelter, the goal is to raise $3000 in order to adopt a family.  There has been a bake sale and currently a toy drive is going on.  

Meetings are Tuesdays at lunch in Room 208 – everyone is welcome!

Spring Plants Fundraiser – from the WAMPA executive

We are excited to announce our spring plants fundraiser.  Please look under resources for the details of the fundraiser. 

We encourage you to order your plants online (https://wampa.growingsmilesfundraising.com) but if you would like a paper form please look under resources for the order form and send it in with your child for processing.  

Key dates are:

  • Campaign Start: April 3, 2019
  • Due date to the WAMPA office for paper forms and cheques (payable to WAMPA) : April 24, 2019
  • Due date for online orders and e-transfers (can only be done for online orders through the Growing Smiles website): April 28, 2019
  • Plant pick-up: May 15, 2019 (Time TBD: anticipate it will be between 6-8pm but we will get confirmation on May 15th for the exact time)

Cookie Dough Fundraiser

WAMPA is once again doing a Cookie Dough Fundraiser, receiving 40% of the profits for the Abe Music Program. Our fundraising helps us to fulfill our mandate of providing all of our students with equal access to music instruction opportunities through clinicians, performances in festivals and other opportunities; and, to leave no student behind. 

We are selling Tasty Batters Gourmet Cookie Dough, with 3 assorted mini loaf flavours, brownie bites and the               ALL NEW butter tarts!

You can order online or drop off your order form along with a cheque payable to WAMPA by end of day                      tomorrow (March 8).

Please put Nathan Gingrich as the student name.   If ordering online go to: www.qsp.ca  

When you hit the “READY TO SHOP” button just enter this code 4863353

Orders will be ready for pick up  the first week of April. Further information will be sent out later.
