Important Dates

We follow the CBE Traditional Calendar. The calendar sets common start and end days, non-instructional days and holidays. For our school’s additional non-instructional days, late entries, early dismissal days and events, see our school calendar page.


Start Up Days - August 2019

School Office phone lines will be answered to make registration appointments for the following week. 

The school office will not be open until August 26 at 8:00 AM

Main Office Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Lifetouch will be taking school photos and issuing ID cards in the Aux Gym.

On student dates below:

  • Grade 12  -  August 26 – 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

Guidance will be open for critical course changes for Grade 12 students. No new Registrations today. 

ELL students:  Appointments and Assessments with Ms. Lou.

  • Aug. 27 – Grade 11 Students: 9 am – 2 pm.

Guidance will be open for critical course changes for Grade 11 students. No new Registrations today. International and ELL students: Appointments and Assessments with Ms. Lou.

  • Aug. 28 – Grade 10 Students: 10:30 am – 2 pm.

Guidance will be open for critical course changes for Grade 10 students. No New Registrations today. Teachers in attendance.

Our first day of classes is September 3, 2019

On Sept. 3, 2019 we welcome our Grade 10 students at 9:00 am and welcome back 

our Grade 11 and 12 students at 1:50 pm.

Sept. 4, 2019 ACCESS and ALP are in.

Sept. 4, 5 & 6 -  9:03 - 9:20  Homerooms  - Students will meet to receive information and forms and return once completed.

Medically Vulnerable Student Information 

Medical Forms for students with severe allergies or other conditions: 

Please complete and submit to the office on those first days of classes.

Do You Have a MyCBE / PowerSchool Parent Account?

Parents who have not already done so, must create an account in MyCBE / PowerSchool to:

  • Pay fees or apply for a waiver

  • Register for transportation and noon supervision

  • View student progress

To create a new account, go to www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe and click on Create Parent Account. You will need to have your child(ren)’s CBE Student ID Number and use your email on file at the school.​

Fees and Waivers

School fees will be charged to families after the start of the school year in September and October. Online fee payment is the simplest and most convenient way to pay school fees. Parents can use their online account to pay fees or apply for a waiver at: www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe.
