Ways to Get Connected

Communication Between Home and School

We believe ongoing communication between home and school is vital for optimal student success.

The school and school council cooperate to email a weekly update each Sunday to all of our families via School Messenger. This update will include information about what is happening at the school as well as upcoming events.

Classroom teachers will also communicate day to day information such as what has been happening in class, upcoming activities, homework, and reminders via School Messenger at least twice per week. Teachers welcome emails from parents, and this is usually the best way to contact teachers. Teachers will inform parents of their email address at the beginning of the school year and they can also be accessed on our school website. It is also possible to phone the school for more immediate concerns.

Report cards are sent home in January and June each year and there are conferences planned for all students in September, November and March.
